This year we are championing one of our core values each month. This month we are celebrating excellence by pushing ourselves mentally and physically. I personally am trying to get out more through extended shopping trips at outdoor malls and dancing (who says exercise can’t be fun?). Our goal is to continue to get better at everything we do. In the office we aim to improve ourselves by seeing what works and building on it. Seeing as we’re working on improving ourselves, I went ahead and jotted down some quick tips to improve your quality of service and workflow.
Review your work daily;
Staff that spend 20 minutes at the end of their day reviewing what happened can boost productivity by as much as 35% over the course of a month.
2. Keep a checklist;
If certain errors are recurring, keep a handwritten list of them on hand to remind you to keep an eye out.
3. Keep information readily available;
Whether it's client preferences, known issues, or best practices, making sure everyone has access to all the information they might need ensures you are always providing the best service.
4. Establish a process;
In order to consistently provide good results, you need to break things down into manageable steps. Even in more creative fields, there are certain steps you can take to ensure success.
5. Never be satisfied with good enough.
Always be looking for the next step. No matter how good things are, they can always be better.
