In this new age of social isolation and teleworking, the art of communication is falling by the wayside. It's important to keep social ties strong for the sake of morale and productivity. In order to keep everyone engaged we have enacted a few policies to keep things interesting.
1. Mix up your meetings.
In order to make sure everyone stays engaged we take turns presenting our weekly status reports. This empowers everyone to feel like they are part of something greater and keeps us all on the same page.
2. Engage everyone on a personal level.
Get people thinking. We ask everyone a fun and thought provoking question at the start of the week.
3. Checking in
People want to feel seen. Asking about their kid’s sports team or asking them about their weekend. Try to show people you recognize them as an individual.
